ERMITAÑOS (THE HERMITS)
ABOUT
The Hermits (Ermitaños) is a transmedia documentary about the historical Ermita building, located in Mexico City. The documentary is composed of a feature film, a webdoc or interactive documentary and an IG account.
The narrative is expanded, meaning that you will find unique content in each medium. In the feature film you get to know some of the inhabitants and their struggles that living alone in this city brings. In the webdoc you become a “hermit”, a resident of the building, and you can play to furnish your house, and explore the building and different videos, maps and texts. The Instagram account works as an album with photographs from the people.
